The Ruhrquellenhütte is located right on the Rothaarsteig and the Ruhr Valley Bike Trail and features a large, inviting outdoor terrace—perfect for evenings by the fire with a large barbecue buffet or for relaxing with cool drinks.

The Ruhrquellenhütte is also perfect for family gatherings or company parties for groups of 20 or more (up to 80 people indoors).

Whether in summer or winter, the Ruhrquellenhütte and its beautiful surroundings offer pure recreational fun.
Surrounded by numerous biking and hiking trails, it’s the perfect spot to start your tour, take a break, or wind down the evening after a long day.
The large, inviting outdoor terrace seats 150 people—perfect for cozy evenings by the fire with a delicious barbecue buffet and cold drinks. Children are very welcome here and can run around to their heart’s content in our spacious, nature-filled surroundings before enjoying our delicious kids’ meals! Ample parking is also available.
If you’d like to host your company, family, or club outing (10 or more people) with us… We’d be happy to organize the day for you with full-day programs, such as laser clay pigeon shooting, archery, blowgun shooting, mountain carting, and, for example, a barbecue buffet!
In winter, the Ruhrquellenhütte offers snow fun for all winter sports enthusiasts. As soon as the temperature reaches the required level, snowmaking begins, and the slope is ready for skiing, snowboarding, and sledding.
